Flica is also available as a grp production boat, although now sadly only second hand. This has a very similar layout and rig. A bigger fractional rig is available for those who want more performance. The photos below are all of home built boats
The FLICA has full standing headroom on the bridgedeck, and the wide overall beam results in a spacious saloon with all round vision. The four separate cabins each have genuine double berths and offer maximum privacy.
Inboard diesels (9 - 18hp each) LAR keels and wheel steering are standard
"My highest compliments on the quality of your plans. 'Add me to your list of satisfied customers' is an understatement - your design and drawings are tops" RH USA
I have been delighted with Flica during my ownership of some 12 years and I heartily recommend your design skills" BL UK
Many Flicas have been used for charter and a number have made ocean crossings - furthest reported is UK to New Zealand.
This Flica was built by a Swiss owner and is shown in La Palma, the Canaries. Presumably a live aboard cruiser preparing to cross the Atlantic. Even so its sitting nicely on its lines
